Passion Projects
At Siphesihle Social Enterprise, we believe small acts of consistency build real, lasting change. Since 2020, we’ve been dedicated to equipping underprivileged children with the tools they need to succeed — in school, in life, and in the world of work. Our mission remains clear: eradicate poverty through education, opportunity, and access.
We structure our work around quarterly impact goals, allowing us to plan intentionally and deepen our community partnerships.

LAPTOPSThe Siphesihle Social Enterprise extends its deepest gratitude to Monocle for the generous donation of 11 laptops. In partnership with Ga-Mphahlele Homecoming, these devices will be placed in the hands of 11 deserving students in the Limpopo province, opening new doors to learning, opportunity, and growth. Support from donors like you is essential to the continued success of our mission: to break the cycle of poverty through education in rural and underserved communities. Thank you for believing in our vision — and in the potential of every child we serve. |
STUDY GUIDES
In partnership with JuniorTukkie, we proudly provided all participating students with Matric study guides, equipping them with the tools they need to prepare confidently for their final exams. We’re also thrilled to share that JuniorTukkie has committed to waiving application fees and offering scholarship opportunities to any of these students who are accepted into the University of Pretoria — a powerful step toward accessible, life-changing education. |
VIRTUAL TUTORSincluding sponsoring of airtime and data
Our student beneficiaries at Phauwe High School in Ga-Mphahlele, Limpopo, faced significant disruptions to their education during the COVID-19 pandemic. With contact lessons halted and limited access to technology in the village, many students without smartphones or data were cut off from essential learning resources. In response, we put out a call for virtual tutors — and an incredible team of volunteers answered. Through a powerful collaboration with our volunteer tutors, the principal of Phauwe High School, and the dedicated NPO Ga-Mphahlele Homecoming, we were able to equip students with the data and airtime needed for remote learning, ensuring they remained connected, supported, and inspired during a critical time. |
COVID19 RESPONSE
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we reached out to our network to secure essential resources for our beneficiaries. Thanks to the generosity of our valued partners — FR Pandelani Incorporated Attorneys and Medical Health Solutions — we were able to distribute care packages filled with sanitary pads, hand sanitisers, masks, visors, and gloves. Their support helped protect the health and dignity of our community when it mattered most. |
GAMPHAHLELE ART CLUB
A beautiful week-long art initiative unfolded through a collaboration between Siphesihle Social Enterprise, Beyond The Eyes Network, and the students of Phauwe High School. The goal: to introduce learners to new creative mediums, help them explore their talents, and empower them to tell their own stories through art. Over the course of the week, 40 students participated in engaging after-school sessions — from "Camera Basics 101" to capturing their own photographs. The project culminated in the official launch of the Ga-Mphahlele Art Club, complete with donated cameras for ongoing student use. The principal of Phauwe High School shared this heartfelt message at the close of the programme:
A special thank you to Tebogo Mogale and Sammy Rabolele for reaching out and making this partnership possible. This is only the beginning of something special. |
FUNDRAISING FOR UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FEESOver the course of a week, we launched an online fundraising campaign to cover university application fees for our beneficiaries, all of whom are currently in their Matric year. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised enough funds to not only pay for application fees but also provide data for online orientation sessions. One of our beneficiaries had the incredible opportunity to attend the UCT orientation session, where they were warmly welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mamokgethi Phakeng — an inspiring moment that affirmed the importance of higher education. This project continues to evolve, with our next phase focused on creating University Kick-Start Care Packages to support students as they embark on their academic journeys. What started as a small initiative is growing into a sustainable Bursary Opportunity for deserving students, and we are excited to see it flourish
